Pilates

Pilates mat classes are a series of exercises developed by Joseph Pilates in 1912. Originally designed to rehabilitate injured dancers, the floor exercises focus on lengthening an strengthening core muscle groups (abs / back / trunk). Please take beginning classes before attempting Intermediate classes.

The Tucson Racquet and Fitness Club, offers 21 mat classes each week and private lessons.
